I have had such great success with other Alden casual shoes, that I decided to give these a try as well.
I can honestly say that this shoe is the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. The first day I wore them, I told my wife that they were more comfortable than being barefoot. The combination of the sole, and foot balance cushion inside the shoe make for a fantastic feel on your foot. Somehow, these shoes with a steel shank, and a thick/comfortable sole are light as a running shoe.
I wear these everyday I don't need to put on my Alden dress shoes. I can't recommend them enough.

Superb casual shoe! The comfort of a running shoe with the looks, support, and quality of an Alden shoe. These shoes mold to your feet and ooze comfort. I've enjoy these shoes (tan) so much, I've ordered a second pair in dark brown. Since these shoes are recraftable by Alden for a reasonable price, I'll be enjoying them for years to come.
