I own three (3) pairs of the Alden Indy Tobacco Chamois boots. These are perhaps the best functional Alden Indy boots ever made. My home is Arizona but I work in Africa six months at a time. With only a horse hair brush for care of the boots, these boots have maintained their fucntionality and comfort. After rough use in inclement weather - humidity, jungle, rain, and heat - they are still clean, supple, comfortable, and magnificent. I highly recommend the tobacco chamois boots if you are going on an amazing adventure or just for a short walk around your home. These are amazing boots.

I purchased these about a year ago. The best leather I've ever seen. Gets better with age. They're a half size longer than reported so order a half size down. You'll love them.

Normally size 9 ½ shoes are a ‘bit tight' on me while size 10’s tend to be ‘roomy’ especially in the heel pocket. Taking to heart the reports that Alden Indy Boots run ½ a size big I decided on 9 ½ over 10’s and am glad I did! They fit PERFECTLY!

I'm very happy with these boots, they look a lot better than the original tan ones they had for years. They are certainly unique and look great with a set of bootcut jeans or khakis.Of course the workmanship is 2nd to none since we are talking about alden.

This boot is a great fit, and a high quality shoe. It is my first Alden, and I feel like I have wasted a lot of money on other shoes for many years. Don't let the cost deter you from trying these. You need only consider that these are shoes that may outlast you, and if they don't, Alden will refurbish them. I'm a new Alden convert.
