This shoe is very well made and is beautiful. It is a very dark burgundy. It runs slightly wider than a comparable sized AE shoe, so buyers should factor this in when buying.
Many men are scared off by prices like these, but it seems to me that is only because they fail to consider the purchase as an investment - many times a life-long investment (particularly given that the shoe can be fully restored/recrafted).
You won't regret buying this shoe.

My first,but definitely not the last,pair of Aldens.After 30 minutes they felt like I had been wearing them for years. Extremely well made and comfortable.The entire staff at Shoe Mart is a breeze to work with. I am sure they receive hundreds of orders daily,but they treat you as though you are the only customer they have. Great shoes,great price,great staff, what more could you want?
