I wear 12M and bought 11.5M as recommended. 11.5 shoes fit perfectly for me.
These were the first pair of Alden's that I've owned, and the quality is superior to any shoe I've owned. Buying a new brand of shoe off the internet is a little tricky, and I’ve had to send a few pairs back (other brands) for either style or fit.
The Brown Chrome color is just right for khakis, and the black rubber tread is subtle and not too aggressive.
Wore these around the house for a few hours, and then, after I decided they fit well, and I like the style, broke them in by taking two 30 min walks in them, on separate days. Then I treated the creases and bulges with a little lanolin from inside the shoe. After that, they fit like I've worn them for years, which I intend to do!
