Similar to the Performa, the FiveFingers Performa Jane is also designed to enhance that barefoot feeling, while offering a more secure fit for active use. The kangaroo leather upper is soft against the bare foot, yet strong and tear resistant, with outstanding breathability. The 7-part Vibram rubber sole offers maximum feel and flexibility without sacrificing slip resistance. The Performa Jane was designed primarily for indoor use during fitness training, and Yoga and Pilates. The sole is not designed for extended use during outdoor activities like trekking, running, or water sports.

As an owner of two pairs of Vibrams (Classic and Performa), I'm familiar with how this shoe fits. I needed to return my Performas because one of the pads was coming off. I thought the Performa Janes were very stylish and the pink was super cute so I opted for this as my replacement. How disappointing to discover such a difference in the fit. I thought the toes felt a tad roomier than the original Performas and once the strap was secured across the foot there was a lot of gaping all around the foot. It felt OK but looked very sloppy. I decided to return the Janes and am anxiously awaiting my Performas.
