Built on an entirely new platform, the Speed features a Dri-lex covered 3mm polyurethane insole (thickest under the ball) and a 3 mm anatomical pod outsole design, that offers more plating protection and distributes forefoot impact without compromising important ground feedback, essential to a proper forefoot strike running form. A more athletic padded collar and topline, a lace closure and Mesh upper for improved ventilation.

I ordered these on May 29, 2012 & they were already here this morning (5/31/12). I immediately put them to the test. Oh my goodness they are wonderful. I am use to having to break in a pair of shoes before they are truly as comfortable on my feet. Not these, just an amazing fit! I followed the measuring directions to get my size. I went for a long walk, in fact have been testing them all day & don't really want to take them off. It was 98 degrees here, I walked on the blacktop, my feet stayed cool & dry without socks, just wait until I get the matching socks. I am definitely going to get another pair from Shoe Mart. You have the best prices & that 2 day delivery blew me away! I wanted the Speed style because I have wide feet & the laces allowed me to slide them on & fit them to the width. I kid you not, I have never had a pair of shoes fit this well when a clerk measured my foot. Awesome! awesome, awesome awesome! I also made sure to walk on uneven ground, no problem there, then over a gravel road that had some sharp rocks, never felt a one of them. I am more than highly pleased!

Extremely comfortable an well made. While I had some trouble with the classics and sprints pressing on my achilles tendon the speed feels great. It is very soft inside and it's easier to put on because of the laces. Love it!!
