This is a great pair of boots that hardly requires a break-in period. I highly recommend using Montana Pitch Blend Leather Oil and Conditioner on your pair of boots. It will give them a slightly darker shade and protect them from the elements. I look forward to wearing these for many years to come.

This is a great boot. Very well constructed and they will certainly last the advertised 1000 miles. I have a few pairs of Alden Indy boots and think that while the 1000 Mile boot is not at the level of the Indy, (I like the fit of the Alden Trubalance last pretty much over every other shoe/boot) for the price, the 1000 Mile boot is a great value for a quality boot.
