Any pair of gym shoes just won't cut it for something this intense; you will need sport-specific Crossfit shoes. Without the right footwear, you put yourself at risk for injuries and might not be able to perform your lifts, sprints, and jumps as effectively as you want. That's why we recommend Reebok Crossfit shoes that are specifically designed to provide the stability, comfort, and lightweight response you need at the Crossfit Box or when you perform WODs.
What do you look for in CrossFit shoes? We’ve narrowed it down to 6 essential features: (1) lightweight durability, (2) flexibility, (3) a fairly wide toe box, (4) heel stability, (5) midfoot support and cushioning, and (6) breathability. Reebok CrossFit does a great job of balancing these features in their CrossFit shoes, including lightweight but durable materials, flexible soles, roomy toe boxes, supportive heels and heel cups, 3-4 mm midsoles, and breathable materials.
For maximum performance for even the most demanding exercise routines, we here at the ShoeMart provide Crossfitters, both experienced and new, the best shoes for Crossfit from Reebok. These shoes differ from your usual footwear in the way they are engineered:
Reebok Crossfit Nano
The Nano U-Form was the first CrossFit shoe developed by CrossFitters specifically for the sport. Designed with U-Form custom fit technology for added security, the Nano also comes with a minimalist platform and plenty of stability for lifting. Lightweight with enough cushioning for cardio and endurance movements, the Nano U-Form also features carbon rubber outsoles and side wall lug wraps.
Reebok Crossfit Nano 2.0
The next generation of Nano features an upper designed for lateral support, and a low-profile platform. The Nano 2.0 offers a balance of cushioning and stability to keep you quick, safe, and comfortable throughout your toughest routines. If you are a beginner, the Nano 2.0 is a great introduction to CrossFit shoes with a 4 mm drop, breathable mesh, and DuraGrip toe technology.
Reebok Crossfit Nano 5.0
The newest addition to the Reebok Nano family, the Reebok CrossFit Nano 5.0 features DuPont™ Kevlar® uppers that are breathable, lightweight, and extremely durable. The latest development in CrossFit shoes, the Nano 5.0 has an extended pieces on the tongue and a re-engineered heel cup to keep your foot locked in place, while the new MetaSplit sole and Kevlar® material allow for ultimate flexibility and durability.
Reebok Crossfit Compete 6:14
The Compete 6:14 has been dubbed the "Froning Nano" but it is definitely not a Nano. Designed by Rich Froning with the help of Reebok, this is a more minimal performance shoe. Designed for competitive athletes, the Compete 6:14 features a Dupont Kevlar CombatCage upper, updated RopePro wrap, MetaSplit sole, and 3mm drop. There is a minimal platform so you can feel lighter, securely lift heavier, and squat lower.
Reebok CrossFit Nano Pump Fusion
The Reebok CrossFit Nano Pump Fusion was released at the 2015 Reebok CrossFit Games on July 21st, where Reebok releases new CrossFit shoes every year. This new Reebok CrossFit Nano Pump Fusion has a similar sole to the Nano 5.0 with flexible MetaSplit technology, a durable, stable lug sole for lifting, a CMEVA foam midsole wrapped in a PolyUrethane NanoShell, and RopePro Abrasion Resistant technology for rope-climbing. However, the upper is completely redesigned with a wholecut, single-piece construction to offer a glove-like fit. You are also able to further lock your foot in place thanks to the Pump Air Cage custom-fit technology.
Reebok Crossfit Lifter 2.0
The Lifter 2.0 is a Hybrid lifting shoe that is can be used with short (200 – 400 meter) runs. It comes with many great features for added flexibility and stability, including a lightweight 3D Fuse Frame, flexible platform for toe spring, and flex-grooved outsole for traction. The anti-friction lining on these CrossFit Shoes helps to keep feet dry, comfortable, and cool.
Reebok Crossfit Lifter Plus 2.0
The Lifter Plus 2.0 is a more traditional lifting shoe for your Olympic lifts. While there are some WODs you can do entirely in this shoe, we recommend switching to more traditional CrossFit shoes for most conditioning movements and when you run.
Reebok Crossfit Power Lite
The newest addition to Reebok's line of Crossfit training shoes, the Power Lite features a mid-cut silhouette to provide stability over the platform, as well as a full rubber outsole for excellent grip while keeping the feet firmly planted on the ground during lifts. The DuraGrip toe cap on the upper further provides protection and resistance against abrasion.
