The Alden 40218HC is the famous Alden Tanker Boot in Color 8 Shell Cordovan. This signature Alden boot is crafted on the Barrie last and features Alden's signature Norwegian hand-stitched split toe. Speed hooks, antique edging, and Commando soles make this boot extremely versatile.
Every Alden New England boot is crafted for comfort with pure vegetable tanned leather insoles and glove leather linings. Beneath the insole, a layer of cork and a triple-ribbed, tempered steel shank add resilience and support. Over time, these features help the shoe to assume the contours of your foot shape giving a truly custom quality to the fit.

Defective Worn Footwear Policy (Alden Only)
If you believe your worn Alden shoes have manufacturing defects—such as loose stitching, leather flaws, or sole/heel issues—they must be returned to Alden for professional evaluation. Click the "Start a Return" button above and select "File a warranty claim".
Following inspection, shoes confirmed as defective will be repaired at no charge or replaced if necessary.
