Cancellation Requests

  • Upon request, we will make our best effort to cancel your order prior to it shipping.

Any shoes with creases in the leather or markings on the soles are not eligible for return and will be sent back to the buyer. Please walk gently when trying and keep on the carpet. See the video below for try-on instructions.

  • Return Cost: Return and exchange shipping is $20 per return. If you add Free Returns & Exchanges at checkout, return and exchange shipping is free.

  • Original Shipping & Add-On Fees: Original shipping charges and the Free Returns & Exchanges fee are non-refundable. Refunds are issued for the price of the returned items only.

  • What is Free Returns & Exchanges? Free Returns & Exchanges is an optional add-on you can choose at checkout. The price is shown at checkout before you pay, and you can remove it any time before your order ships. Once your order has shipped, it can’t be removed. It includes:
    • Free Return Shipping – no $20 return fee
    • Unlimited Exchanges – try another size or style at no shipping cost
    • Delivery Guarantee – if your order is lost or arrives damaged in transit, we’ll reship or refund it

    Defective Worn Footwear Policy (Alden Only)

    If you believe your worn Alden shoes have manufacturing defects—such as loose stitching, leather flaws, or sole/heel issues—they must be returned to Alden for professional evaluation. Click the "Start a Return" button above and select "File a warranty claim".

    Following inspection, shoes confirmed as defective will be repaired at no charge or replaced if necessary.

    Important Requirements:

    • Only shoes purchased from our store are eligible for defect inspection
    • Footwear bought from other retailers cannot be processed for return or exchange
    • Normal wear and tear is not covered under this policy
