Return Eligibility Requirements

  • No flexing or creasing
  • Original packaging

**Our team thoroughly inspects every pair before it leaves our facility**

Any shoes with creases in the leather or markings on the soles are not eligible for return and will be sent back to the buyer. Please walk gently when trying and keep on the carpet. See the video below for try-on instructions.

How to Start a Return

*A return label will be emailed to you after completing a return/exchange in our returns portal*

Fees & Exchanges

  • Return Cost: If you purchase Checkout+ at checkout, return/exchange shipping is covered! Otherwise, it costs $20.

  • What is Checkout+? Checkout+ is an optional add-on for your order, available at checkout, that provides:

    • Free Return Shipping
    • Unlimited Exchanges
    • Package Protection (lost, stolen, or damaged in transit)

    Defective Worn Footwear Policy (Alden Only)

    If you believe your worn Alden shoes have manufacturing defects—such as loose stitching, leather flaws, or sole/heel issues—they must be returned to Alden for professional evaluation. Click the "Start a Return" button above and select "File a warranty claim".

    Following inspection, shoes confirmed as defective will be repaired at no charge or replaced if necessary.

    Important Requirements:

    • Only shoes purchased from our store are eligible for defect inspection
    • Footwear bought from other retailers cannot be processed for return or exchange
    • Normal wear and tear is not covered under this policy
