While we love the nuances of Color 8, we think Black Shell Cordovan deserves a second glance. It's elegant shine and versatility make it a great neutral choice for boots. This is particularly so for the New England autumn color palette. A great way to shift away from your summer wardrobe and into nights filled with longer hours, Black Shell Cordovan boots pair well with a wide range of fall favorites--from more conservative black and gray to more casual denim and olive. 

Other Features

The 4465H has a classic American country silhouette. It's crafted on the Barrie Last with a 360-Degree Goodyear Storm Welt that gives it a substantial appearance. The flat waxed boot laces can be a bit tedious to thread through all 9 eyelets. We made this boot with Speed hooks so getting these on will be quick, clean, and easy.

This Barrie last  plain toe boot gets a lot of love in color 8, but we think it looks especially cool in all black. The plain toe and 270 degree goodyear welt offer good balance to the commando sole and help this commando sole boot toe the line between formal and casual.
