Work it Wednesday: Alden Shoes

The first Alden shoes were produced in 1884, in America. Each pair of hand-stitched leather shoes represents more than a century-old tradition of craftsmanship and quality. The Alden Shoe company believes in focusing on improving the quality of their products rather than promoting them, creating shoes that speak for themselves.

The methodical tanning process used on Alden Shell Cordovan leather alone takes six months to finish, and creates leather that is durable, soft, and supple. There is only a single tannery still producing genuine shell cordovan today.

So how, exactly, does one wear this masterpiece?

We searched the internet to bring you some of our favorite looks, dressy and casual. Find them on our Pinterest Work It Wednesday board.
